LOCTITE 565 – White, general purpose thread sealant for an instant low-pressure seal
LOCTITE® 565 is a white, 1-part pipe sealant that provides an instant seal for air pressure testing. It is designed for locking and sealing tapered metal pipe threads and fittings. It cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration. It is resistant to most industrial fluids, and withstands continuous temperatures to 150°C (300°F), and intermittent to 190°C (375°F). It has controlled torque strength for easy disassembly and is low odour.
A 1-part, low-strength, high-viscosity thread sealant that is UL classified to prevent loosening and leakage due to vibration in devices handling petrol, petroleum oils and natural gas.
